Hi, my name is Stephen Boswell and I’m Visually Impaired. I’ve always liked to travel, visiting far-flung places, but as my sight got worse I realised that I would have to change how I approached things, and looked for more specialised travel companies to help me in this. This site shows some of the enjoyable experiences I’ve had when travelling with them and gives some information about where to start looking for your next, or maybe even first, foreign holiday.
If you’re interested in finding out more about some of these companies (there aren’t many of them!) and some basic info on what you need to know when planning your trip, then look at my post on “Foreign Travel for VI#s”. I’ve also included a page, “Useful Links” with links to organisations that can provide other, more general, help for Blind and Partially Sighted People.
